He married The Substance actress in 2023 after dating for two years.

Jack Antonoff reportedly fueled separation rumors after attending Taylor Swift’s wedding with his sister, Rachel, instead of his wife, Margaret Qualley. Now, after the pop star’s wedding festivities have ended, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Antonoff and Qualley had separated. This separation comes just one month shy of their third wedding anniversary.
The source added that Antonoff and Qualley’s relationship is “rocky.” A second insider echoed the sentiments and said that the couple is “figuring things out.”
The 42-year-old Grammy winner is currently booked and busy with his Bleachers Forever tour. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old actress is in the midst of the pre-production of the upcoming horror film Possession.
Notably, Antonoff and Qualley first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted kissing on a date in Brooklyn in August 2021. The pair went public with their relationship the following year when they attended an AFI Awards Luncheon together in support of Qualley’s Netflix series Maid.
Later that year, the Bleachers singer and the actress went Instagram official. PEOPLE confirmed they were engaged in 2022. The following year, in 2023, they got married in New Jersey, with close friends, Swift, Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, and Lana Del Rey in attendance.
The pair has gushed over each other in interviews as well. In an April interview on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Antonoff confessed that he knew he would marry Qualley the “second” they first met at a party in 2021. The Bleachers singer said: “I saw her and it was like a f***ing Hallmark movie that doesn’t seem believable. When I met her, I started imagining things that I’d never even imagined, like marriage.”
