Prince Harry returned to the U.K. under fresh scrutiny this week. A body language expert believes his public gestures revealed unease. The Duke of Sussex made the appearance during an Invictus Games meeting in London. It marked his first major U.K. outing since September 2025 and came days after a significant legal setback.
Body language expert claims Prince Harry showed ‘nervousness’ during UK outing
Body language expert Inbaal Honigman, speaking on behalf of casino.ca, said Prince Harry appeared to be trying to win over those watching him, as reported by Radar Online. According to her, his brief wave outside Chatham House lacked the firmness typically associated with confidence. Instead, she argued it seemed to seek “approval” and suggested he was looking for “reassurance and encouragement” from the crowd gathered outside the venue.
Honigman also pointed to smaller physical habits during the outing. She said Harry repeatedly adjusted his clothing, describing those actions as “grooming” gestures that can signal “nervousness.”
Rather than quoting every movement, she concluded that these behaviors suggested he was highly aware of his appearance and wanted to present himself in the strongest possible way. She added that buttoning his jacket projected a sense of “readiness” and composure despite the apparent tension.
The trip to London came shortly after Prince Harry suffered a legal setback. A judge threw out his privacy case against Associated Newspapers Limited, the company behind the Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday. The lengthy ruling also affects six other claimants and could leave them responsible for a significant legal bill.
Another hearing later this month will decide the final costs, with ANL already saying it plans to recover its legal expenses. Harry strongly disagreed with the outcome, describing the decision as “a complete and obvious whitewash.”
The trip also drew attention before Harry even arrived. Reports initially suggested Meghan Markle and their two children would accompany him for events linked to the countdown to the Birmingham 2027 Invictus Games, but they did not travel with him.
