Barack Obama, during a recent appearance on a podcast, reflected on the Donald Trump administration’s continued focus on him and his family. Obama, who served as president, was asked about the current president, Trump’s regular comments on him.

Speaking on the All the Smoke podcast, the former president responded to the questions about Trump. Obama joked: “I obviously have a room in his head … a suite in his head.”
Obama characterised the current president’s continued attention as an “obsession.” He recalled his time as president, how he stayed focused on governing. “Look, first of all, when I was president, the last thing I had time to do was worry about what somebody said. Somebody said or what my predecessor did. They’re gone. I’ve got work to do,” said the former president, whose predecessor was George W. Bush.
Although he described the behavior as “strange”, he addressed it with humour rather than criticism.
Earlier in June, Trump took a swipe at Obama on Truth Social, indicating that the Obama Presidential Centre was a trash can. He posted an edited photo that depicted the centre as trash.

Reflecting on his time in the White House and said, “I think it was Bill Clinton who called it the crown jewel of the federal penitentiary system. Because, for security reasons and all kinds of other reasons, you are confined. It is the bubble inside the bubble.”
Throughout the conversation, Obama emphasised his focus on the future rather than past political battles.
