The couple will wed on June 6 at All Saints Church in Kemble, Cirencester. Many royal members are expected to attend the private ceremony, including Prince William. However, sources say Prince Harry has been left off the wedding guest list.
While speaking about the upcoming nuptials and the guest list, royal commentator Emily Nash told Page Six that “it comes down to interpersonal relationships.” “What we were told was that Peter hadn’t spoken to Harry for the last few years. And so it sort of has been a natural cooling off and he wasn’t invited as a result,” said Nash while promoting her upcoming appearance on the live recording of Hello! Magazine’s “A Right Royal Podcast” next Tuesday.
The expert even believes that since the groom is “very close” to the future monarch and his loyalties allegedly lie with William, he was favoured over Harry. Telling about their rapport, Nash added that Phillips is “very loyal; he’s very protective.” Moreover, he’s been “a very good sounding board to his cousin over the years.”
But she thinks that if both brothers had attended the nuptials, “it would have put a completely different slant on the whole event.” “And that’s not what you want on what should be the happiest day of your life, right?” she added.
