FBI Obtains Nancy Guthrie’s Alleged Last Known Footage — Report

New updates have emerged in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case, suggesting that there is footage of Guthrie in an Uber from the day before she vanished. Guthrie remains missing weeks after authorities say she was abducted from her Arizona home. Investigators have reportedly reviewed what may be the last known video of the 84-year-old. Notably, it has not been released to the public.

Investigative reporter claims Nancy Guthrie’s last known footage was reviewed by FBI

“Crime Stories with Nancy Grace” first shared the updates, and The New York Post reported further that investigators have what they believe is important footage related to the Nancy Guthrie case, showing Guthrie riding in an Uber the day before she disappeared from her Arizona home.

The Post reported that the apparent surveillance video has not been made public, and that authorities seized it early in the investigation.

“Crime Stories'” investigative reporter Dave Mack alleged that an Uber driver provided the video, saying that the driver “turned over all the video from inside the vehicle.” Moreover, Mack claimed that investigators did not see anything in the footage that raised concern. He said, “They found nothing of substance, of anything of Nancy Guthrie in the vehicle, anything she said, her demeanor, nothing was mentioned.”

The reporter claimed, “They interviewed the Uber driver at length,” adding, “And again, there was nothing to report. It was just a regular pick up and drop off.”

However, the Post noted it could not confirm the existence of the Uber footage. So far, the outlet has reported that investigators have only released surveillance video showing a masked person from Guthrie’s doorbell camera taken on the night she disappeared.

If the Uber footage exists, it may still help in the Nancy Guthrie case, especially regarding her movements in the hours before her disappearance, even if it offers no clear clue about what happened next.
