Ex-Prince Andrew Asked To ‘Renounce the Succession’ by Palace — Author

The royal palace has reportedly “made an offer” to ex-Prince Andrew, which he cannot “refuse.” Tom Bower, an investigative biographer, recently sat down for an interview with Harry Cole in a new episode of the show “Harry Cole Saves The West.” It aired on YouTube on March 16, during which the royal author claimed that Andrew has received the “cleanest solution” to his ongoing scandal.

The interview took place after the former Duke of York’s arrest at the Wood Farm cottage, on February 19, his 66th birthday. He has been released since then, allegedly under investigation.

Ex-Prince Andrew offered ‘cleanest solution’ to scandal, per royal author

A royal author, Tom Bower, recently gave an interview to Harry Cole on the show, “Harry Cole Saves The West.” During their conversation, he explained that the palace recently offered ex-Prince Andrew the “cleanest solution” after his scandal.

While discussing what King Charles did in the wake of the situation with his brother, the former Duke of York, the author said, “He took far too long to handle the Andrew problem.” Bower continued, “He should have got rid of him soon after he became King.” The news came after the former Prince lost his royal titles and his longtime residence, the Royal Lodge in Windsor, amid controversy over his scandalous past.

In the meantime, Tom Bower further said that King Charles has now been “beset by the problem of not only Andrew but also his daughters.” After that, the show’s host went on to mention the talks about “stripping” ex-Prince Andrew “from the succession.” Cole also added, “But it could take years to get 14 commonwealth countries to agree on it.

In response to this, the author claimed, “Well, as I understand it, someone went up to Sandringham last Saturday from the palace to suggest to Andrew that he voluntarily give up the succession.” He continued, “And he can do that. He can sign a form saying he renounces the succession.” Bower then expressed, “That ends it straight away,” adding, “And that would be the cleanest solution.”
