Nicole Kidman says she’s going to be ‘moving toward what’s good’ after Keith Urban divorce
Nicole Kidman has reportedly never spoken up about her divorce from Keith Urban and the way she dealt with the separation. Although the star wasn’t willing to openly discuss her divorce, she did speak a bit about her personal life in an interview with Variety, revealing that she is looking forward to the good things with her teen daughters, Sunday and Faith.
The Oscar-winner admitted that while last year she was “quiet” as she “had other things going on” and she was in her “shell,” but now she is in “a place of saying, ‘2026. Here we go.'” The “Babygirl” actor even confessed that she is now doing fine after the separation and is looking ahead.
“I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that,” she said. The 58-year-old even revealed that she is not discussing “everything else” simply “out of respect.”
She said, “I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.” In the same interview, she also cleared the air about whether she would be moving out of Nashville after her separation from the singer.
“Do you think you’ll remain in Nashville even though your personal situation has changed over the past year?” asked the interviewer. “Yes. We have our life here. I’m part of the city and community for 20 years. It’s my home,” she said, confirming she will stay there despite the speculations of her moving to Australia with her daughters.
