This came shortly after Garner opened up about co-parenting with Affleck, with whom she got divorced in 2018. The pair have continued to maintain a cordial relationship in tending to their kids.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted together again, celebrating their son, Samuel’s 14th birthday. The exes were photographed at Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, California. In the photos, Affleck can be seen carrying the gear with Garner following him. Samuel and two of his friends were following close behind (via Page Six).
The pair share two more kids together, Violet, 20, and Seraphina, 17.
The reunion came shortly after Garner discussed co-parenting with Affleck following their divorce in 2018. During a recent appearance on the One Nightstand podcast, Garner said, “When your kids grow up in two separate households, I become mom and dad, and he becomes dad and mom.” She added, “You kind of can’t help it, right? Because you don’t have the benefit of both sides, the yin and yang being in the same house, so you have to have a bit of both in the way you parent.”
She had further added, “There’s a little bit of loss in that, but there’s also something gained in that…You also just learn, it’s made me let go and not focus so much on the bringing up.”
It is not rare for Affleck and Garner to reunite for major events like birthdays and holidays. They have frequently taken Samuel out together. The pair also reunited over Thanksgiving last year.
Ben Affleck was married to Jennifer Lopez recently, but they finalized their divorce in 2025. Affleck remains single as of now, per reports. Meanwhile, Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018.
