Jennifer Aniston Posts Wuthering Heights’ Clip From Friends, Thanks Margot Robbie

Jennifer Aniston is giving a shoutout to Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi’s new film, Wuthering Heights. The actress shared a clip from the popular sitcom Friends, subtly promoting the period romantic drama.

Jennifer Aniston took to her Instagram to promote Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi’s Wuthering Heights in a unique way. The 57-year-old shared an adorable clip from an episode of Season 5 of the classic sitcom, Friends. In the video, we see Aniston’s Rachel, and Phoebe, played by Lisa Kudrow, studying the Wuthering Heights novel by Emily Brontë for their literature class.

Rachel arrives late in the class and takes a seat behind Phoebe. “What is the book about?” she asks Phoebe. However, Phoebe is shocked and tells Rachel, “You said you read it in high school.” Rachel replies, “Yeah, but then I remembered I started it, and then there was the pep rally, and I was, I was on top of the pyramid.” As such, Phoebe decides to fill in her friend on the storyline.

“It’s this tragic love story between Cathy and Heathcliff,” she says. Phoebe further adds that the story “takes place on these really creepy moors in England, which I think represent the wildness of Heathcliff’s character.

She also exclaims, “I totally get symbolism!” Unable to process all the information at once, Rachel gets confused and starts going through the book. In the post, Aniston hilariously mentions how she doesn’t need to read the lengthy novel thanks to the Wuthering Heights movie stars. She writes in the caption, “Thanks to Margot and Jacob, no reading required.”

Netizens also dropped some hilarious comments under the post. One user said, “Poor Phoebe, she really wanted to learn something while Rachel just wanted to have fun.” Another one stated, “NEEDED THIS YES.”

A third user wrote, “literary queens before it was trendy!” A fourth netizen noted, “Kinda ashamed (and kinda not) to admit that all of my knowledge of WH comes from this episode of Friends.”
