Why Kendall Jenner FaceTimed ‘Friend’ Tom Brady on Jimmy Fallon Show

Kendall Jenner turned a late-night interview into a full-blown Super Bowl moment when she casually FaceTimed Tom Brady mid-conversation to ask for his expert prediction. Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, Jenner joined host Jimmy Fallon to promote her new Super Bowl 2026 commercial for Fanatics Sportsbook, which hilariously leans into the internet’s long-running “Kardashian curse” theory.

During the interview, Jenner explained that internet-created narratives claim that athletes who date her or her sisters tend to hit career slumps. Instead of fighting the rumor, she decided to profit from it — literally. “Essentially, the internet created this idea that if an athlete dates one of my sisters or me, they become the curse,” Jenner said. “But I got a commercial out of it.”

In the ad, the 30-year-old model pokes fun at her dating history by blaming her luxury lifestyle on her so-called “cursed” exes. She jokes that one former basketball boyfriend missing the playoffs meant “nobody was getting a ring in this house,” while another allegedly flopping out of the league paid for her vintage convertible. She even credits a third ex for funding her private jet.

The commercial ends with Jenner joking, “Kardashian curse? It’s not even my last name,” as she weighs her Super Bowl bet between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. Any winnings, she noted, will go to charity, which she revealed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

On Fallon’s couch, Jenner admitted she didn’t fully trust her football instincts, so she called a friend, Tom Brady. With Brady already saved on her speed dial, Jenner FaceTimed the NFL legend live on air. “This is really, really helpful. I am going to process all of this information, but I really appreciate the phone call,” she said, laughing. While she confessed she barely understood everything he said, she couldn’t help but give a prediction on her own. After trusting her instincts, Jenner finally locked in. “I think I’m gonna go with my gut here,” she said. “I feel like I’m gonna go with the underdog—and I think I’m gonna go Patriots.”
