The fight against leukemia may have just found a new ally, and the results might just weed out the sickness.

According to a study done at St. George’s University of London, scientists found that a compound in marijuana has the capability of destroying the cancerous tumors in the disease. Yup, it smokes them out.

A Study Says Marijuana Kills Leukemia Cells

When combined with chemotherapy, the research says, cannabis showed to have better treatment results than when chemo is done without it, strengthening the evidence that says everything is better on weed.

The guy who wrote the study, Dr. Wai Liu, had some science stuff to say to The Daily Mail about it. We cannot confirm whether or not he was high when he said it.

“We have shown for the first time that the order in which cannabinoids and chemotherapy are used is crucial in determining the overall effectiveness of this treatment,” he said.

So basically, there’s a specific order in which you’re supposed to treat with the weed and chemo. It’s apparently not as simple as toking up a bowl of your favorite strain, so don’t stock up on too much the devil’s lettuce as an excuse to promote a “healthy lifestyle.”

Maybe this is what this Florida man had in mind when he got caught with a bunch of weed stuck up his ass.
