Now this wouldn’t be the first time a a teacher has been fired after her naked past has been discovered, as we’ve talked about a UK teacher who was canned after her lingerie-modeling pictures were seen, and then there was time a Czech teacher was let go after her students learned she was a porn star. And now we’re off to Dallas for a similar story.
Resa Woodward, a 38-year-old teacher at the Young Women’s STEAM Academy at Balch Springs Middle School was fired from her job after some porn she made 16 years ago was leaked online. 16 years ago, folks. 16 years ago. And so of course Woodward is planning to fight her termination, as she believes this discovery led to her unfair dismissal.

According to a report by The Dallas Morning News, the district learned of Woodward’s work in porn after getting an anonymous tip in March, although a subsequent internal investigation cleared Woodward of any wrong-doing or violation. Woodward was safe to continue to teach as long as her naked clips was kept out of the public eye.
Well wouldn’t you know it, they were leaked by the same tool who gave the tip, so the district had to let go of Woodward (whose adult film name was Robyn Foster) because they “did not want his/her child exposed to things like this” and felt Woodward’s behavior was deceptive to pupils and parents. OK, then.
So, what type of porn was Woodward doing? Well, it seems that Woodward was involved in a few pornographic videos and photos — videos featuring ‘hardcore’ lesbian threesomes. No problem there.

Woodward is actually convinced that she is being targeted by the tipster for her porn past and her outspoken political views, as she is a well-known writer who regularly contributes to the Libertarian Party of Texas, as a state membership coordinator and a district representative.
Here’s what Woodward had to say on the matter.
That involvement was not of my own choosing. I’ve been trying to live my life as far away as possible from this stuff for a long time.
I taught in an all-girls STEAM academy that was all about empowerment for women. The sad thing is that if these girls find out that I’m being punished for something that I did nearly 20 years ago and had no control of and fought to get out of, well, what does that say about empowerment?

But not to worry, with a fifteen year career as an educator and a great record of merit-induced pay increases for two years in a row from Dallas Independent Schools District, Woodward is of course fighting her termination.
And now to look for her work. Kidding. Maybe.
