Guess What Happened When This Girl Tried To Catch A Long Kickoff At The Auburn-LSU Game

A beautiful young photographer with the Auburn University Athletics Department made a bet with a manager of the Auburn football team that she would be able to catch one of Daniel Carlson’s booming kickoffs if it came her way during Saturday night’s controversial 18-13 victory over LSU.

Annnnnnnd, we’re pretty sure she lost that bet:

Now, we say that we’re pretty sure Ashley Ward lost that bet because she technically caught it. It’s just that she caught it with her face instead of her hands.

The good news is that Ashely is going to be just fine after getting drilled in the face, and it looks as though she’s got a promising career ahead of her on the football field. Of course, not as a player but taking pictures of them instead.
