Feast your eyes on this, the official Super Smash Bros. 3DS bundle, complete with a wonderful design on the console that features all of your favorite Nintendo characters.
The bundle has been announced for a European release, though there’s no word on whether it’ll be making its way to North American yet. The bundle comes with a pre-installed copy of Super Smash Bros. 3DS, the handheld counterpart to the upcoming Wii U Smash Bros. game, and the Smash-themed console you can see in the above image.

Nintendo is putting its full support behind Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS, as it looks to continue to raise the profile of its ailing home console after a poor start on the market. Mario Kart 8 helped to propel Wii U sales to new heights, though it’s still not where it needs to be in order for Nintendo to be deemed a financial success.
It’s uncertain whether the console will ever prove to be fruitful for Nintendo, after the company posted a $97 million loss at the quarter ending June 30th. Hopefully Super Smash Bros. will curry favor with a thus far untapped audience, and both hardware and software sales will rise in the near future.
