ACH Advertised For Two Independent Wrestling Events, Says ‘The King Is Back’

Update: ACH is also being advertised by Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment for their event on December 1.

ACH says the king is back, and he’s now set to appear on an upcoming wrestling event in Texas.

ACH quit WWE last Wednesday and is now being advertised for a Heavy Metal Wrestling event on November 22. Formerly known as Jordan Myles in NXT, the wrestler said he quit the company because he refused to work for a racist company and publicly complained about a blackface themed t-shirt was designed for him.

Despite quitting the company, ACH said he’s still legally bound to WWE during a live Q&A on his social media feed. At the time of the initial controversy with the shirt design, WWE issued the following statement saying ACH (Albert Hardie Jr.) had approved the shirt, but Hardie later said that someone had lied to him about the final design. WWE has not issued a statement about ACH’s status with the company since he made the announcement.

Albert Hardie Jr. (aka Jordan Myles) approved this t-shirt for sale. As always, we work collaboratively with all of our performers to develop logos and merchandise designs and get their input and approval before proceeding. This was the same process with Albert, and we responded swiftly once he later requested that the logo/t-shirt be redesigned. No t-shirts were sold.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE “very much tried” to help Hardie weeks before he went public with his issues. WWE has not publicly commented on this story. Hardie has now come back to social media, posting a post-WWE wishlist of opponents. He has also been in contact with one promotion wanting him to make an appearance, but there is no indication that he has been released from WWE.
