Jordan Myles Deletes Twitter Account; Booker T Reacts To Myles Quitting WWE Via Expletive-Filled Video

Jordan Myles caused quite the stir this week when he released an expletive-filled video, quitting WWE and NXT. The entire situation started when WWE presented Myles with a t-shirt design that some believe looked like blackface. Myles was very public about his displeasure.

Myles released a video online saying the following:

As of today, I’d like to officially announce that I quit f—ing WWE. I am no longer an employee. I refuse to work for racists … I hate that f—ing company and everything they stand for. All they ever did was hold our people back. I do this s— for the culture, I don’t need anyone’s permission to do anything.

He then suggested his “Jordan Myles” name was his “slave name” before saying he now wants to be referred to as ACH. The video has since been deleted from Myles’ Twitter account, and Myles has even deleted his Twitter account as a whole. However, the video is still available to watch via social media and YouTube.

Recently, two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T took to his podcast, “The Hall Of Fame,” to offer his thoughts on the Myles situation. Here’s what he had to say:

I don’t know if Jordan Myles has quit the company, but social media says he quit the company. I don’t – I’m not gonna sit here and judge or anything like that. I’m not gonna sit here and say ‘The guy should’ve did this, the guy should’ve did that.’ I’m gonna lay out on that because I don’t need one of these backlash saying, ‘Booker said this, or Booker said that.’ But I’m just going to say this, man, the situation all started with the t-shirt.

Now, it’s gotten to this. I don’t know where it’s going to go from here, but I do know that some of the stuff he was saying, as far as the company goes, I can not – I’ve been on this earth for 54 years. If you think one person is something, call it that. If you think that person is something, call it that. But I can not judge a group and say everybody is that. When you make a blanket statement like that, you do no justice for yourself, or the culture.

Because – and like I said, I say this because I’ve had a lot of years and experience, and I do know I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for a white guy by the name of Bruce Kasarich, who made this all happen for me as far as changing my life. That’s another story. I easily could’ve judged everyone the same way after my situation, going to prison, being a kid who had never been in trouble before, first time in the back of a police car, getting locked up, saying ‘The system did me wrong! I hate everybody of that color!’

You know what I mean? And if I would’ve done that, I would’ve done myself an injustice. More than anything, and I think that’s the situation that I want to make clear here. The way he’s going about it, is he’s doing himself an injustice. And that’s my take on that, and I’m going to leave it at that.
