What does the High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam trailer reveal?

Joel Kinnaman will play the role of CIA analyst John Nixon. The limited series is inspired by real-life events and Nixon’s memoir titled Debriefing the President. In the trailer, Nixon can be seen hunting down Hussein alongside fellow US soldiers in Iraq. After the Iraqi leader lost his power, a massive search was launched to bring him out of his hiding. In fact, a massive bounty of $25 million was also announced. Nixon was the first CIA agent to question Hussein.

In the trailer, Kinnaman’s character can be seen asking Hussein after he was found hiding in a hole back in 2003. “Where’s the WMDs?” Nixon asks in the trailer. Hussein, played by Waleed Zuaiter, responds, “Who are you? You are nothing?”

High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam will also feature the likes of Talia Balsam, Lena Gora, Dar Salim, Paul Ryan, Christopher McDonald, Ewan Miller, Matt Barr, Rebecca Night, and Tom Berenger. The series is directed by Leslie Greif, who is also the co-writer. The production credits include Big Dreams Entertainment and AR Content.
