‘Richest One’: Tracker Star Promises Big Things for Season 4

Tracker leading star says Season 4 will be the most ambitious chapter yet. He believes the next season will surpass Season 3, which reached No.1 for a primetime scripted show broadcast with its May 24 finale.

Justin Hartley says Tracker Season 4 is the ‘most ambitious one’ yet

Speaking to The Wrap, Justin Hartley, who plays the lead character of Colter Shaw, revealed that Tracker Season 4 will offer fans the best experience yet in the entire series. “We have spent the first three years unpacking this story about what happened to Colter’s father — who was involved, who wasn’t involved — and that’s changed throughout the course of the show,” he said.

Without spilling any key Season 4 details, he added, “We’ll come back with something — we already have it, it’s pretty incredible. Honestly, I think it’s our most ambitious season to date, but I think it’s also our richest one, in terms of character and backstory and where we’re taking Colter.”

Season 4 is shaping up to be highly ambitious, with the productions shifting from Vancouver to Los Angeles, thanks to a $48 million tax credit from California. “Our show is a road show. Our character goes from town to town across the United States of America and meets people from all different walks of life and helps them out. These strangers become kind of his family in a way,” the actor explained.

Before Tracker, Hartley earned admiration for his roles in This Is Us and Smallville. On Tracker, he also serves as an executive producer.

The action series also features Fiona Rene as Reenie, Jansen Ackles as Colter’s brother Russell Shaw, Abby McEnany as Velma Bruin, Robin Weigert as Teddi, Eric Gaise as Bob Exley, Kathleen Robertson as Maxine, and Floriana Lima as Camille Picket, among others.

Tracker Season 4 is set to arrive this fall. Fans can stream all the episodes from Season 1, 2, and 3 on Paramount+.
