Kim Kardashian is no stranger to the lavish sets and extravagant details of All’s Fair, but there is one part of filming she seems to enjoy more than anything else: the food. The reality star recently revealed that she cannot resist the dishes prepared for scenes, often helping herself even after the cameras stop rolling.
Kim Kardashian’s love of eating the show’s prop food has become a running joke
During her conversation with George Stephanopoulos, Kardashian was asked about the extravagant law office featured in All’s Fair. Stephanopoulos pointed out the marble interiors and the meals served to the cast before asking, “So is it real food? And do you get to taste it?”
Kardashian confirmed that the food was real and admitted, “It’s real food. And I love to eat it the whole time.” Her co-star Niecy Nash-Betts then playfully warned viewers, “Do not let that tiny body fool you. She eats everything.” Nash-Betts also called Kardashian “the greediest woman I’ve ever met in my life.”
Kardashian did not deny the accusation. Instead, she explained, “I eat all the prop food,” adding that she continues eating even after the director calls cut. She also shared that her love for treats extends beyond filming. “Last night in my room, I made Rice Krispies treats because I wanted all the girls to try them,” she revealed.
However, Kardashian’s enthusiasm for the food can create a challenge during filming. Her co-star Naomi Watts explained, “It’s a thing called continuity. If you eat it in the scene, you have to keep doing it.” Kardashian recalled being told, “Hey, hey, there’s continuity. Pace yourself. Eat like a grape or half a grape, because you’re going to have to do that the same time, 50 times.”
But resisting the food has proved difficult. Kardashian admitted that she sometimes goes all in on the pie, only to wonder afterward, “What did I get myself into?” Still, she made it clear that the experience has not put her off. “But I love it,” she concluded.
