Meghan Markle reportedly has plans in California beyond the upcoming festive season, with career talks at the center of it all. She, along with Prince Harry and their children Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, will reportedly leave the UK for weeks. Sources now say her calendar there is already filling up, and she plans on making the most of her time there.

According to Closer, the family plans to join Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving. They will then stay on for the festive period, and several reports have suggested that the move was intended to allow them to spend time with Doria.
The insider, however, suggests Meghan has a second priority. “She’s already in talks for a few different projects, both scripted and reality,” the source says. Meetings are also allegedly being arranged for her return to LA.
Markle’s acting plans are not starting from scratch, as the source notes that she has filmed a cameo for the upcoming film “Close Personal Friends,” alongside Lily Collins.
Her former agent, Ari Emanuel, has added to the conversation. He called it a “great thing” that he no longer has to think about Meghan Markle’s career. He explained that his team at WME is still doing a “bunch of things” for her behind the scenes. “I think she’s actually getting booked and there’s reality stuff and TV stuff,” he said.
The insider says relationships will matter as much as meetings. “Knowing the right people is key,” the source explains. That is why Meghan plans to connect with “as many power brokers as she can” while in the city. Holiday parties are part of the plan, since “so many of the people she wants to mix with will be in the same room.”
Away from the parties, Meghan also reportedly likes spending time at the San Vicente Bungalows, a private members’ club. The reason is similar. According to the source, “all the right people come through so introductions can happen very organically.” She is looking forward to “reconnecting with people in person” and seeing what comes of those conversations.
Her lifestyle brand also recently unveiled an advent calendar, and its illustration shows the couple’s Montecito home under falling snow. With a trip back to the U.S. reportedly coming soon, what Meghan Markle’s Hollywood return will look like remains to be seen.
