The Terminal List could have another spin-off in the works and Tom Hopper has emerged as a potential lead. The actor, who plays Raife Hastings in the franchise, has a huge physical build, making him natural fit for a lead role. With Hopper expressing interest in exploring more of Raife’s story, the franchise may already have a lead hero for another spin off.
Tom Hopper also wants a Raife spin-off after The Terminal List Season 2
Tom Hopper has expressed interest in expanding Raife Hastings’ story through a possible spin-off of The Terminal List, particularly as the character returns in Season 2 of the main series. Although no standalone project centered on Raife has been announced, Hopper believes the franchise offers room for more stories.
During an interview with Collider, Hopper was asked whether he could continue playing Raife as The Terminal List and its prequel, Dark Wolf, develop further. “I don’t know. I could be doing this until I’m in my 50s, at this rate. I said to (author) Jack Carr, when we were talking about it, that it’s limitless, in terms of the franchise elements of the show. You can go prequel or you can go spin-off. I would love to do Savage Son. That was the first The Terminal List franchise book that I read, and I fell in love with it. That’s the one that I would love to get to,” the actor replied.
However, Hopper believes Raife’s relationship with Ben has reached its conclusion in Dark Wolf. Ben, played by Taylor Kitsch, died in Season 1 of The Terminal List. Reflecting on the characters’ storyline, Hopper said, “In terms of Dark Wolf, I don’t know whether Raife would carry on in Dark Wolf. I feel like him and Ben’s story ended there, as much as I would love to work with Taylor again.”
Chris Pratt has also spoken about the potential for a Raife Hastings spin-off. In an interview with ComingSoon, Pratt discussed his long-term plans for James Reece. “James Reece’s last mission is going to be he’s going to eat a steak without his dentures in,” the actor joked.
