Alexander Skarsgård recently spoke about his costume for his upcoming film Wicker. The fantasy comedy sees the Swedish actor play a fisherwoman’s Wicker husband made from twigs. On the Graham Norton show, Skarsgård discussed the fake nipples used for his costume and decided to gift them to the host.
Alexander Skarsgård just gave Graham Norton his fake nipples
On a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, Alexander Skarsgård praised the nipples used for his Wicker costume. “So this suit was, like I said, exquisite,” he said. The actor further called the nipples the best part of the costume, finding them “extraordinary.” He also pointed out the brilliant craftsmanship of the nipples. “Every day when I was wearing them, putting them on, you screw them on. I was thinking of you, Graham, ” Skarsgård jokingly told the host.
“For some, I don’t know, very, very bizarre reason. And I have them there today, and I want to give them to you, ” he continued. The “True Blood” star then presented them to Norton, saying, “I have my nipples here.” Skarsgård picked up a black box below the table on the show’s set, prompting the Irish comedian to ask if the gift was real, which Skarsgård confirmed.
Skarsgård got down on one knee to hand over the box to the host to the applause of the audience present. Norton thanked his guest and was visibly stunned when he opened the box. Norton then showed the gift to the camera.
Wicker is based on Ursula Wills-Jones’s short story “The Wicker Husband.” Besides Alexander Skarsgård, the movie features Olivia Colman, Peter Dinklage, and Elizabeth Debicki in leading roles and is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 23, 2026. The film has so far earned strong reviews from critics ahead of its release.
