Kate Middleton reportedly finds one aspect of the royal family tough to deal with, even after all these years, according to a new news update. The Princess of Wales is the wife of the future king, Prince William. She is also mother to another future heir to the throne, Prince George. However, Middleton genuinely finds it difficult to handle crowded receptions because she cannot project her soft-spoken voice across the room.
Insider suggests Kate Middleton reportedly struggles with big interactions as a royal family member
Kate Middleton finds it challenging to handle crowded rooms and large gatherings as a member of the royal family (via Radar Online). A source said, “Catherine can appear completely at ease when people see photographs from these enormous receptions, but the reality is that they can be surprisingly demanding.”
The Princess of Wales, the future queen, is constantly surrounded by people who want a piece of her. The source explained that while Middleton is polite, crowded rooms can easily overwhelm her. It is because her natural voice is tender and soothing. So, she finds it “challenging” to raise her voice to make herself heard.
The insider explained that Middleton does not just breeze past conversations. She will listen, reciprocate, and fully engage with another person and take conversations “extremely seriously.”
The insider quipped that it has become sort of a “running joke” that Middleton is encouraged to speak louder and make herself heard. This has also led to conversations extending past their stipulated time, and her royal schedule is somewhat going haywire.
The source revealed that while Middleton has regularly worked on building her confidence, she still struggles to embolden her voice. The future queen seemingly “prefers to be quiet rather than loud.”
Interestingly, Middleton has herself acknowledged this unique problem at an event marking the 100th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s birth. Middleton said, “I find these environments are really hard. I’ve also got a very soft voice, so I always get told ‘Speak up a bit louder!’”
