According to a recent report, King Charles allegedly asked Prince William and Prince Harry for something unexpected after the Duke of Sussex returned to the UK with his family. Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their children, moved to the UK to stay for an extended period in August. The couple moved to America in 2020 after stepping down from their royal roles.
King Charles wants his sons to put their bitter feud aside for a public show of unity
A source recently told Heatworld that King Charles wants his sons, Prince William and Harry, to show unity. They suggested that with Harry’s return to the UK, the King is no longer willing to watch the feud between his sons play out in public.
The insider said, “The King wants all hands on deck when it comes to the William and Harry problem. His Majesty would love it if they could genuinely make peace, but even if that isn’t possible, he wants a public show of unity, and everyone within the family is aware of that.” They added that Charles seems tired of having the same conversation with William about Harry.
William and Harry have had differences since Harry moved to the United States in 2020. However, reports suggest the feud between them escalated after Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, made statements to the media about the Royal Family. Moreover, Harry’s allegations in his 2023 memoir Spare are also said to have played a key role in their strained relationship.
Since Harry’s return to the UK, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have not made any statement on their move. Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Kinsey Schofield said William and Middleton “don’t appear to feel any urgency” to react to Markle and Harry’s comeback. Schofield suggested, “If Harry genuinely wants a relationship with his brother again, I suspect William is going to want to see consistency rather than another grand gesture.”
