The insider said Harry and Meghan Markle were “not so close” to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie anymore, adding that Harry had not seen Eugenie “over the summer in Portugal.” However, according to the report, the Duke has “very few friends left from before.” The source claimed they will need “serious social inroads” to get back “in the fold.”
Meanwhile, the outlet said Princess Eugenie was once especially close to the Duke. She was among the first royals to learn about his romance with Meghan. She also visited the couple in California and appeared in “Harry & Meghan.” The source noted Eugenie was “heavily pregnant,” but called it “a real difference.” They added that the cousins were once close enough to share Frogmore Cottage.
