“The View” host Ana Navarro doesn’t seem convinced about Ivanka Trump‘s participation in a recent kids’ charity event in Miami. After Ivanka recently posted about doing charity work for kids in Miami, Navarro took over her Instagram and lashed out at the President’s daughter. The host also took the opportunity to call out Donald Trump over the ICE raids.
Ana Navarro says Ivanka should pressure Donald Trump over immigration enforcement affecting children
The View’s Ana Navarro fired shots at Ivanka Trump in a recent Instagram post after the latter posted about doing charity work for kids in Miami.
Ivanka recently shared a video on her Instagram account with her followers and revealed that her charity, Planet Harvest, has partnered with the nonprofit Style Saves in Miami. She shared that the mission was to help kids and provide them with back-to-school supplies. She mentioned in the caption that the organization looks forward “to collaborate with Style Saves in support of more than 25,000 Miami families as they prepare for the new school year.”
On the other hand, Navarro revealed in her post that she was trying to “disconnect from the US news cycle.” However, she stumbled upon Ivanka’s post. Later, the former read about a 6-year-old Miami schoolkid, Martina, held up at the Dilley Detention Center. In her video, Navarro referred to the ICE raids and their effects on the families, especially the kids.
Navarro further mocked Ivanka and suggested she “talk to ‘Daddy Dearest (Trump)’ and tell him to stop the cruelty and inhumanity of his administration against immigrants who have done nothing wrong and give them a chance to live in this country with dignity.”
“The View” host also accused Ivanka of faking the charity work in Miami and labeled it as “hypocrisy.” Navarro mentioned in the caption, “Please spare me the faux-compassion, Ivanka.”
