Expert suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have to ask King Charles for forgiveness
Brand expert Sharon Williams reportedly revealed that there is a “need to ask for some forgiveness” if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to mend broken ties with King Charles. Williams explained that the Duke of Sussex has damaged his own brand image by washing dirty laundry in public and allowing his wife to do the same. Hence, it is pertinent that they seek forgiveness from the monarch (via News24).
The brand expert then launched a subtle dig at the Sussexes, stating: “Can you imagine them asking for forgiveness though? We haven’t seen much loyalty for their own flesh and blood on both sides – Meghan and Harry have been very happy to slay their own kin,” adding there is “a lot of whining.”
As a certified brand expert, Williams also criticized the Sussexes’ brand positioning. She stated that nobody really knows what their brand really stands for and that there is so much back and forth with not “very much consistency.”
Williams dished: “Harry has a lot of work to do to improve his personal brand because the British public feel he betrayed them. The Sussex brand was full of promise, but Harry and Meghan have publicly ridiculed, criticised, and spoken down about the institution.”
The brand expert suggested that the Sussexes have made their personal brand about themselves instead of serving the British public. As per Williams, the public is “rather tired” of the couple’s antics in the media.
