Donald Trump was accompanied by his aide, Natalie Harp, at the late Senator Lindsey Graham’s funeral today. However, his wife and First Lady Melania Trump skipped the service. The funeral was held at the Washington National Cathedral. It was revealed in a statement that Graham passed away at the age of 71 on July 11 “from a brief and sudden illness.”

The First Lady, Melania Trump, was nowhere to be seen at late Senator Lindsey Graham’s funeral. Nevertheless, President Donald Trump was spotted with his close aide, Natalie Harp, at the service.
Irish Star reported that Harp wore a black dress as she left the White House with Trump for the funeral. The reason behind Melania’s absence has not been revealed. Harp has become a topic of discussion online after being repeatedly spotted with Trump at major events. She has reportedly been nicknamed the ‘human printer’ at the White House. Harp first came into the spotlight for accompanying Trump on his visit to China in May 2026, which Melania skipped.
Trump spoke at the funeral and lauded Graham for his service to the nation. According to CBS News, the President described the late Senator as “a beloved friend, a devoted brother, a respected statesman, a giant of the United States Senate, a true American original who left us much too soon.”
He also asserted that Graham was always aware of what was happening in the United States and around the world. Moreover, Graham always shared his true opinion on numerous things. Trump added, “He was a man who gave America the full measure of his good and mighty heart until that heart itself just gave out. There was truly nobody like Lindsey Graham.”
Trump also said that he and Graham didn’t start well, but that Graham eventually became “one of the most important men” to him in the US.
