Donald Trump Has 5-Word Reaction After Meeting Israel PM

Donald Trump took to social media to post about his recent meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He shared a series of photos while briefly noting that the interactions went positively. Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu was their first since the US and Israel launched joint military attacks on Iran in February. Meanwhile, the US president met with Zelenskyy to discuss weapons and ongoing tensions in the war.

Trump shared a series of pictures on Truth Social from his meeting with Netyanhu at the White House. Sharing a positive update, he wrote in the caption, “Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu of Israel, along with myself and Representatives. Had a very good meeting! Obviously, many important subjects were discussed.” In another post, he also updated about his interaction with Zelenskyy, claiming that their meeting “went well.”

Netanyahu later revealed that this was the “best conversation” he had had with Trump amid their complex political relationship. He said in Hebrew, “When I say excellent, I don’t mean it in a superficial way. A conversation with full partnership, with mutual support, with an understanding of the common goal of ensuring that Iran does not have nuclear weapons, and other goals as well” (via AP News).

In addition, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed on social media that the talks between the duo were “positive and productive.” According to a source who accompanied the Israeli prime minister, the discussions between the two leaders were mainly about Iran and its nuclear program. “The leaders reaffirmed their ironclad commitment to ensuring that Iran never has nuclear weapons,” the source added.

Ahead of their White House meeting, Trump spoke to Fox News, appearing irritated. This happened when he was asked whether he and Netanyahu were about to discuss matters related to alleged intelligence concerning Iran’s underground Pickaxe Mountain nuclear facility. He said, “I don’t need Bibi to tell me that.” Trump added that the Israeli PM is directing him, as he wants him to stay “involved.”
