Fightland Trailer: 50 Cent’s New TV Show Turns a Boxing Ring into a Warzone

Starz has released the trailer for Fightland, a new crime drama produced by 50 Cent. Set against the backdrop of British boxing, the series is Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s first internationally produced show through G-Unit Film & Television. The production company has produced films such as Den of Thieves and Moses the Black, as well as series including BMF.

Fightland follows Maduka “Duke” Kilroy, a world heavyweight champion who is incarcerated after reacting violently following an assault on his brother. Eight years later, Kilroy leaves prison and starts his quest for vengeance against crime boss Kingsley Marshall, who used to be his promoter. However, Marshall appears to have vanished, leaving behind his wife, Joy, who is also Kilroy’s romantic partner. The show chronicles Kilroy’s infiltration of Marshall’s criminal empire in London.

What do we see in the Fightland trailer?

The trailer starts by showing Kilroy (Howard Charles) working for Marshall (Nicholas Pinnock), whose company is accused of serving as a front for money laundering. In Marshall’s absence, the family business is being controlled by his children. Kilroy infiltrates the business and slowly starts destroying it from the inside. The trailer ends with several shots of Kilroy’s boxing life and present-day vengeance against Marshall colliding against each other.

The show was created by Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith, who also serve as writers and executive producers. Damione Macedon and Raphael Jackson serve as showrunners, executive producers, and writers. The first two episodes are directed by Otto Bathurst. The series is Starz’s first wholly owned original series.

Fightland stars Howard Charles, Nicholas Pinnock, Deborah Ayorinde, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Charles Babalola, Tahirah Sharif, Tyler Conti, and Richard Pepple. The series is executive-produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film & Television. Francis Hopkinson and Kate Leadbetter also serve as producers.

Fightland premieres on Starz on Friday, July 31, 2026. New episodes will stream weekly.
