An expert recently suggested that Donald Trump‘s wife, Melania Trump, didn’t seem happy while accompanying her husband to the July 4 rally. Trump and Melania were present at the National Mall for the Fourth of July celebrations. Trump organized the rally after he canceled a music show when many artists turned down his invitation.
Body language expert decodes Melania Trump’s behavior on July 4
According to OK Magazine, body language expert Darren Stanton told Covers that Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, didn’t actually seem joyful while attending the July 4 event beside Donald Trump.
Melania was present at the July 4 rally at the National Mall. However, according to Stanton, while the First Lady did smile as she held hands with Trump, she appeared ‘stoic.’ Stanton said, “With Melania, she has adopted a similar posture. They’re both on duty and want to project a sense of power. Melania is often the type of person to give a lot away through her body language, but here she was very stoic.”
The expert stated that it is normal for two people to tilt closer when they are holding hands. But the two didn’t seem to do so. He added that Melania and Trump seemed to be in work mode. “There wasn’t any of that. To me, that proved the couple were very much on duty, with it being business as usual as they faced the public,”
Stanton asserted. He further conveyed that Trump and Melania didn’t appear to look at each other despite standing next to one another. Stanton said that the President looks like he’s “very much in the zone and wants to put on a performance.”
Stanton described Melania’s smile as one reserved for her “social” appearances. The expert conveyed, “This was very much work mode for Melania. She was standing beside the President and playing her role.”
