Donald Trump recently made an appearance on Usha Vance’s Storytime With the Second Lady series, where he talked about the hobbies of past presidents as he read a children’s book titled “President’s Play!”
At one point in the conversation, the POTUS noted that the White House has an outdoor pool, built during President Gerald Ford’s administration. However, he added that he hasn’t been able to take advantage of the attraction. “An outdoor pool was built for President Gerald Ford. I don’t get to use it,” he stated, before adding, “I don’t know if I look good in a bathing suit. I haven’t had a bathing suit in a long time. I’m too busy.”
In Friday’s episode of The Ingraham Angle, Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham responded to the peculiar interaction between Donald Trump and Usha Vance by saying, “That was a little uncomfortable,” as per Mediate. She also quipped about the Second Lady’s response to the president’s remarks, stating, “I like Usha Vance’s facial expressions. Like, ‘Ok. Where is this going?'”
Donald Trump’s comments about his bathing suit share an uncanny resemblance to the statement he made during a 2025 interview. While talking about his potential visit to Argentina, the 80-year-old politician exclaimed, “I’d like to be like [Joe] Biden. I’d like to go to the beach. You know, my legs are not quite as thin as his. My legs are slightly heavier, my arms are slightly larger. My body is a little bit larger than his. I’m not sure it would be appreciated on the beach, but I’m not going to take a chance. You won’t see me in a bathing suit.”
