Donald Trump’s Latest Attack on the Obamas Uses a Graffiti-Covered Air Force One

President Donald Trump has shared a doctored photo of Barack and Michelle Obama in front of a vandalized Air Force One. The post, published on his Truth Social platform, is his latest in a string of personal attacks against the former first couple.

Donald Trump’s altered image targeted Barack and Michelle Obama

The manipulated photograph shows Barack and Michelle Obama smiling and waving at the top of Air Force One’s stairs. Behind them, the iconic plane has been digitally covered with spray-painted graffiti. Scrawled across the aircraft’s fuselage are the words “Yes We Can,” “Obama,” and “BLM.” The last one is an acronym for Black Lives Matter. Arabic lettering is also on the plane, spelling out “alhamdulillah,” a common phrase meaning “praise be to God” or “thank God.”

This is not the first time Donald Trump has used altered imagery against Obama. Last month, he shared a doctored picture of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, making it appear as though a giant bag of rubbish sat atop the building amid a desolate wasteland. “The Obama Library ten years from now will be a ‘Mecca’ for those who hate America!” Trump wrote. He posted that photo twice on his platform.

Furthermore, the most recent controversy was when Trump shared another doctored photo showing the Obamas as primates in a jungle. That February post, which was made during the first week of Black History Month, was deleted following bipartisan condemnation. Civil rights leaders and Republican senators alike criticized it. Trump reportedly refused to apologize, with aides later blaming a staff member for the post.

Trump’s antagonism toward the Obamas stretches back years. He has continuously blamed Barack Obama during the Iran war for the previously made agreement between the two nations. Even during the bashing of the Democrats, the former president is reportedly either depicted or mentioned.
