New Muppets Popcorn Bucket Revealed for Disney World

Disney World surprised fans with a new Muppets-themed popcorn bucket, which struck most as unusual. The popcorn bucket paid tribute to Sam Eagle from The Muppets, who had planned his “glorious, three-hour finale.” As Sam Eagle was also known for his patriotism, Disney World used this Holiday window for the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary to unveil this new popcorn bucket.

What to know about Disney World’s latest Muppets-themed popcorn bucket

Ahead of the Fourth of July celebrations, Disney unveiled a Muppets-themed popcorn bucket inspired by Sam Eagle. The collectible was recently spotted at Disney World and has attracted attention from fans.

The popcorn bucket appears to reference Sam Eagle’s “glorious, three-hour finale,” which the character planned for Muppet*Vision 3D.

Given Sam Eagle’s well-known patriotic persona, Disney’s decision to release the collectible ahead of Fourth of July celebrations aligns with the holiday theme.

While the popcorn bucket is reportedly available throughout the park, Disney Food Blog reported that its team purchased one from a popcorn stand near Cinderella Castle.

The bucket reportedly costs $22, while popcorn is sold separately. Purchasing popcorn is optional.

The collectible features Sam Eagle wearing his signature red, white, and blue top hat. The design closely resembles the character’s appearance from The Muppets. The bucket is also a practical size, making it easy to carry while still providing room for popcorn.

However, Disney Food Blog noted that it may be beneficial if the bucket does not come pre-filled. It is because “there’s not that much space for the snack inside the bucket.” Even so, the collectible could appeal to Disney fans looking for a decorative item or themed souvenir ahead of the Fourth of July celebrations.
