Disney+ is expanding its appeal to NFL fans with a major streaming collaboration. Fans can soon tune in to the streamer to enjoy the nation’s one of the biggest sporting events.
Disney+ and ESPN have announced their collaboration with the NFL to livestream Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, February 14, 2027. The livestream will give Disney+ subscribers another way to watch ESPN’s first-ever Super Bowl production. All subscribers in the United States can stream the traditional game presentation airing on ESPN and ABC, alongside the Spanish-language telecast on ESPN Deportes.
Disney+ expands access to ESPN’s Super Bowl LXI coverage
Disney+ will also bring ESPN’s Super Bowl to more than 55 international markets outside the U.S., including Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, and Australia/New Zealand. In addition to the Super Bowl LXI livestream, two Monday Night Football regular-season games will also be available on Disney+. The first will be the Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, October 26 (Week 7). The second game will be announced later.
The next phase of the Disney and ESPN collaboration includes transforming Santa Monica Beach into ESPN Beach ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, as announced at Disney’s Upfront presentation in May. Beginning on February 8, it will serve as a weeklong broadcast hub for both ESPN and ABC. The event will also feature a free fan experience on the Santa Monica Pier, with interactive games, immersive experiences, and family-friendly entertainment.
ESPN and Disney are also reimagining the iconic “I’m Going to Disney World” tradition with “We’re Going,” a marketing campaign for ESPN’s inaugural Super Bowl. The media giant has also unveiled the Disney | Champion NFL collection, which debuted at Fanatics Fest NYC with a Fan Draft featuring Tom Brady, Emmitt Smith, Rob Gronkowski, and Fernando Mendoza.
The Super Bowl LXI will be played at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The ESPN/ABC broadcast will feature Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge.
