On Wednesday, June 10, in New York City, Taylor Swift came out to support the New York Knicks for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, sporting a “Stevie Knicks” t-shirt, which seemingly paid tribute to both the iconic singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks, as well as the New York Knicks. Swift was not the only star in the field wearing a t-shirt paying tribute to the team in an offbeat way.

Taylor Swift paid tribute to Stevie Nicks at the NBA Finals game 4, where she sported a t-shirt that read “Stevie Knicks.” The word play was a nod to the iconic Fleetwood Mac singer, as well as the New York Knicks, who ended up winning against the San Antonio Spurs 107-106.
Taylor was not the only one who had a t-shirt based on a wordplay around the team’s name. Her fellow friends and musicians, Alana Haim and Este Haim.
Alana wore a t-shirt that read “Knickelback,” which again, along with being a nod to the Knicks, was a tribute to Canadian rock band Nickelback. Meanwhile, Haim went a step further and wore a t-shirt that read “Knickole Kidman,” a play on the famous Hollywood star’s name. All three stars wore blue t-shirts with an orange print.
Swift completed her look with a matching blue and orange hair tie, jeans that featured cutouts at her thighs, high-heel sandals with a chain-link strap, and nail art consisting of the Toy Story clouds (via PEOPLE). This look was right after Swift’s appearance at the Toy Story 5 premiere, for which she made an original song.
Swift shared her connection to the franchise after making the song. “Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once,” she wrote on Instagram, “And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.”
