The iconic pop star is reportedly tying the knot with NFL star Travis Kelce on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden. The report claims the ceremony will take place at the iconic venue.
Rob Shuter reported in his Substack that insiders claimed Taylor Swift does not plan to invite people she is not personally acquainted with. This reportedly applies even to major figures from the entertainment industry.
“Taylor wants to look around the room and recognize every face,” one source told Rob Shuter. “She doesn’t want people there simply because they’re famous.”
According to the report, Swift has observed celebrity weddings that appeared to focus more on status than personal relationships. Sources cited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 wedding as one example, noting that some high-profile celebrities reportedly attended despite having no prior connection to the royal couple.
“Taylor has no interest in turning her wedding into a power summit,” an insider added. “She wants a celebration, not a networking event.”
