Donald Trump heads to golf after Truth Social meltdown

Donald Trump was spotted departing for the Trump National Golf Club, Washington, D.C., on Sunday, for the second day in a row. The president appeared to have been accompanied by an unidentified blonde aide. This golf trip marks the 26th day that Trump has visited the golf course and the 112th day overall that he has golfed since his return to office.

The Sunday golf outing came just a day after Trump made a series of bizarre Truth Social posts. The president shared multiple AI-generated images of himself, including a photo of his sculpture included on Mount Rushmore. Another image depicts Trump towering over Greenland, with the caption, “Hello, Greenland!”

Trump has often shown interest in Greenland, claiming that the island nation is important to U.S. security. However, Danish and Greenlandic leaders have firmly pushed back on the president’s suggestion to acquire Greenland.

A third AI photo posted by Trump depicts the White House protected by the “Golden Dome,” the planned extensive multi-layer missile defense system. This proposed project aims to detect and intercept incoming missiles before they can hit the target.

Another AI photo depicts Trump as a decorated military officer commanding several naval ships and fighter jets. It included the caption, “You’re getting discombobulated.” Trump also dissed former president Barack Obama with a post featuring the Obama Presidential Library, depicted as a trash can.

Trump’s posting spree comes just a couple of weeks ahead of the UFC Freedom 250 event. It is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2026, on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. The UFC planned the event at the White House to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
