All 4 Seasons of Epic 81% RT Series Are Leaving Netflix

A highly acclaimed AMC period drama will exit Netflix‘s content library next month. Although the show’s first season received a lukewarm reception, the subsequent seasons gained it high praise from nearly everyone.

Turn: Washington’s Spies Seasons 1-4 are leaving Netflix

Turn: Washington’s Spies (stylized as TURИ: Washington’s Spies) Seasons 1-4 are set to leave Netflix on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 (via What’s on Netflix).

The story is based on real events and adapts Alexander Rose’s 2007 historical book, Washington’s Spies: The Story of America’s First Spy Ring. The show is created and co-written by Craig Silverstein. He previously worked on other successful titles like Pantheon, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Nikita, Bones, and The Invisible Man.

Turn: Washington’s Spies centers on Abraham Woodhull, a Long Island farmer who becomes an unlikely spy during the American Revolutionary War. After a series of events, Abraham joins the Culper Ring, a secret spy network working for General George Washington. Together, the group gathers intelligence that turns the war in America’s favor.

AMC also released two comic book series called Turn: Origins and Turn: Rivals. The stories served as prequels, chronicling the early lives of the show’s main characters.

The show stars Jamie Bell as Abraham, Seth Numrich as Captain Benjamin, Daniel Henshall as Lieutenant Caleb, Heather Lind as Anna Strong, Ian Kahn as General George Washington, and Meegan Warner as Mary, among others.

Turn: Washington’s Spies debuted on AMC on April 6, 2014. Season 1 divided the viewers, with critics rating it 54% and audiences rating it 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the following seasons earned the show universal acclaim.

Now, the average critics’ rating for the show across all four seasons is 81%. The user ratings are higher at 92%. The Metacritic score is lower but still favorable. The website reports a weighted average critics’ score of 62 and a user score of 7.8.

Netflix subscribers have just over three weeks left to stream the 40-episode AMC series on the platform before it leaves next month.
