Melania Trump & DIL Lara Reportedly Have a ‘Stiff Relationship’

A new report suggests that First Lady Melania Trump and daughter-in-law Lara Trump have been feuding amid President Donald Trump‘s trip to China. Melania was not a part of the team that accompanied Donald Trump on his trip to China. However, Lara Trump was included as a part of the convoy.

Melania Trump and Lara Trump’s reportedly have feud

According to a report by The Mirror, First Lady Melania Trump and Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump’s wife, Lara, may be having a feud.

The outlet states that the two are seemingly experiencing a “stiff relationship.” This comes amid the President’s trip to China. Trump arrived in China on May 13 with his team, which consisted of Elon Musk, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, Eric Trump, and his wife, Lara. However, the First Lady did not accompany Trump to the country.

After the plans for Trump’s China visit were announced, the White House confirmed that Melania would not be traveling. But a reason for this was not revealed to the public.

The outlet further suggests that Melania tends to maintain a slightly distant relationship with some members of Trump’s family. This has caused speculation about bad blood between Melania and Lara. According to a report by The Sun, Lara recently paid a subtle tribute to Melania by choosing her outfits for the trip, inspired by the First Lady.

Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade even mistook Lara for Melania in footage showing her descending the Air Force One stairs behind Trump. During the live broadcast, Kilmeade stated, “As the first lady comes down the stairs to join the president.” Soon after the fumble, his co-host interrupted him, correcting him and saying it was Lara. Recently, an astrology specialist, Tracy Higgs, spoke to The Irish Star regarding Melania and Lara’s reported relationship and said, “On the surface, they can appear harmonious because both signs dislike unnecessary confrontation, but underneath, there can be tension around position, image, and influence.”
