Pedro Pascal welcomes Sigourney Weaver with a peck
During the world premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu, Pedro Pascal softly kissed co-star Sigourney Weaver to greet her. Additionally, the Chilean-American actor was seen blowing flying kisses to fans. Pascal and Weaver’s kiss comes amid the former’s kiss with Stephen Colbert, which has gone viral. For the unaware, The Last of Us star appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on May 12, 2026, to promote The Mandalorian and Grogu.
During the same episode, Julia Louis Dreyfus played a clip of the host kissing celebrities. She wanted him to add her to the list, which led to the kiss between the two. Upon his arrival, Pascal suggested that Colbert plant a kiss on his mouth. Thus, they ended up sharing a kiss while the audience cheered. Pascal commented on how he “got jealous”, and the 62-year-old host replied, “No need, any time. These lips will soon be free.
Pascal has been eagerly anticipating the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu. In his interview with Fortress of Solitude, the 51-year-old actor acknowledged the creators for the seamless transition from series to film. He stated, “Thankfully, we are in the hands of a director, Jon Favreau, who’s drawing from all of his love and inspiration of George Lucas’s original Star Wars authorship, [as well as] Dave Filoni’s brilliant infinitesimal knowledge of the Star Wars world.”
Pascal continued, “You know, Jon Favreau’s a really great filmmaker. He’s also an actor, so he knows how to deal with us [laughs].” The award-winning actor added that he was “utterly cradled by the skill of an entire village of people who are the best in the business. Incredible collaborators, inventors, and world builders.”
