First VisionQuest Series Trailer Release Date Gets Exciting Report

The first trailer for VisionQuest is possibly on the way, according to a new report. As per the trailer, the show is currently being prepared. Dropping sometime this year, the new superhero miniseries serves as a spin-off of 2021’s WandaVision. It will follow the title character, who was resurrected with an all-white appearance by S.W.O.R.D. and had his memories restored by his alternate self from Wanda Maximoff’s fake reality in Westview in the parent series.

VisionQuest’s first trailer rumored to be prepared

On May 8, The Beyond Reporter shared on X (formerly Twitter) that an Avengers: Doomsday trailer was being prepared. However, days later, they put up a follow-up tweet. In it, they said they made a mistake, reporting that the trailer for the Vision series was the one under preparation.

Needless to say, this is nothing more than a rumor as of writing. Marvel has yet to confirm when the first official look for VisionQuest will drop.

A release date hasn’t been announced. Moreover, plot details are being kept under wraps. However, Brad Winderbaum, the Marvel Studios Head of Television, Streaming, and Animation, teased on the official Marvel podcast that it would revolve around the theme of fatherhood, in a similar vein to how Agatha All Along tackles motherhood.

“It is really about fathers and sons. And specifically about three generations of grandfather-father-son,” he shared. “Can a man who had an abusive father be a good father himself? It gets very emotional at times, and it’s exciting. It’s an exciting adventure.”

He added that the fight sequences with Vision, complete with the “Marvel fun and adventure,” and the “backdrop of real human stakes and emotion,” made the series “feel very grand.” Winderbaum continued, “It’s like an adrenaline rush, it’s emotional, and it really delivers on a lot of things that I hope people have come to expect from Marvel.”

VisionQuest will have eight episodes, all streaming on Disney+. Terry Matalas, who previously created 12 Monkeys for SyFy, developed the series.

Paul Bettany and James Spader return as Vision and Ultron, respectively. The supporting cast includes Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, Orla Brady, and Emily Hampshire, among others.
