During an interview, he and Zendaya were asked if they had kept any secrets in real life in reference to the latter’s character, who appears to have many in the movie. A response from Pattinson has many thinking if he did hint at being married already. Waterhouse and Pattinson sparked romance rumors in 2018 and got engaged in 2023.

During a conversation with Extra TV, the interviewer asked Pattinson and Zendaya if they have ever kept any secrets in real life, alluding to their The Drama characters, who seem to have many. Zendaya played coy and answered, “I don’t know — that’s what secrets are, right?” She made it clear that she doesn’t have any secrets, and nothing comes to mind at the moment.
The conversation then turned to Pattinson, who answered, “It’s the same one that you have,” pointing to Zendaya. Their remarks were followed by a good laugh. Pattinson’s comment drove massive attention, given that there are ongoing rumors about Tom Holland and Zendaya having been secretly married. Therefore, many started to speculate the same. They believe Pattinson might also be maintaining the same level of secrecy about his marriage to Waterhouse as the ‘Spider-Man’ couple.
In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, the ‘Batman’ star gave some wise relationship advice. He said that he learned from his character in The Drama. He said, “I think communicate a little less,” before adding, “Once you open the Pandora’s box, it’s just — it’s not necessary.”
Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the upcoming movie, set to release on April 3, centers around a happily engaged couple. Their relationship faces massive challenges when a shocking truth emerges, causing a hindrance in their wedding plans. Apart from Pattinson and Zendaya, other cast members are there. They include Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates, Zoë Winters (as a wedding photographer), and Anna Baryshnikov.
