During an interview, he and Zendaya were asked if they had kept any secrets in real life in reference to the latter’s character, who appears to have many in the movie. A response from Pattinson has many fans wondering if he hinted at being married already. Waterhouse and Pattinson sparked romance rumors in 2018 and got engaged in 2023.

During a conversation with Extra TV, the interviewer asked Pattinson and Zendaya if they have ever kept any secrets in real life, alluding to their characters in their movie, The Drama, who seem to have many. Zendaya played coy and answered, “I don’t know — that’s what secrets are, right?” She made it clear that she doesn’t have any secrets, and nothing comes to mind at the moment.
The conversation then turned to Pattinson, who answered, “It’s the same one that you have,” pointing to Zendaya. Their remarks were followed by a good laugh. Pattinson’s comment generated massive attention, given that there are ongoing rumors about Tom Holland and Zendaya having been secretly married. Therefore, many fans started to speculate that the same could be true for him and Waterhouse. Some fans believe Pattinson might also be maintaining the same level of secrecy about his marriage to Waterhouse as the Spider-Man couple (via E! News).
In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Batman star gave some wise relationship advice. He said that he learned from his character in The Drama. He said, “I think communicate a little less,” before adding, “Once you open the Pandora’s box, it’s just — it’s not necessary.”

Their relationship faces massive challenges when a shocking truth emerges, disrupting their wedding plans.
