Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel ripped into Melania Trump’s latest appearance at the UN, criticising her for promoting peace at a time her husband is actively bombing another country. Kimmel also slammed Melania for her getup and some of her pronunciations, lamenting the “poor UN translators.”

Jimmy Kimmel, the veteran talk show host who has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump for years, ripped into Melania Trump after the First Lady arrived at a new UN meeting to promote peace. In the meantime, the President is engaged in an active war with Iran.
“This is the first time ever that a first lady has presided over a Security Council meeting less than 72 hours after her husband started a war,” Kimmel said on his show on Monday.
Kimmel also pointed out the very expensive getup that Melania sported during her UN appearance. Her getup included a gray Dior jacket, a matching wool skirt, a black Dior leather belt, and Christian Louboutin stilettos.
“It looks like the worst season of The Bachelorette yet,” Kimmel said. “But even though it was her first time, Melania handled it like a seasoned old pro.”
The host went on to play clips from the meeting, where Melania can be seen mispronouncing several words. Melania Trump is originally Slovenian, and English is not her first language. Kimmel added about her pronunciation, “Those poor UN translators. I mean, how do you say ‘democratinizing’ in Chinese? In fairness, she had a very long day trying on hats.”
Kimmel further added, “The first lady was there reportedly to promote education, and as a means to advance tolerance and peace around the world.” Iran’s death toll, meanwhile, has crossed 700.
Previously, Jimmy Kimmel Live! was indefinitely suspended after the host made some comments about Charlie Kirk. After widespread backlash, the show was brought back on air.
