Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 reviews are highly positive
Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 has debuted to a wave of strong reviews. Reviewers praised its emotional depth, romantic tension, and character development.
Simon Gallagher of ComicBook.com wrote, “It has heartbreak, belated heroic returns, sex, and the mystery element that’s been missing since Penelope was revealed to be Lady Whistledown.” While acknowledging that the season is “far from perfect,” he concluded that the four-episode release remains “another gold star for Shondaland.”
Nicholas Brooks of CBR noted, “With Season 4, the momentum doesn’t stop as the series gets more dreamy in some respects but also much darker in others.” He praised Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, stating they have “impeccable chemistry as Benedict and Sophie.” He also highlighted Hannah Dodd and Claudia Jessie as standouts among the Bridgerton siblings. Brooks ultimately called the season “the most heartfelt and an immensely satisfying take on a traditional fairy-tale romance.”
Aramide Tinubu of Variety observed a significant improvement over the first four episodes. “While Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1 felt like a knock-off of ‘Cinderella,’ the remaining episodes are much stronger, stepping beyond the fairy-tale trope to address passion, loss and what’s at risk for high-society women who fail to secure a good match in the marriage market,” Tinubu wrote. The critic added that the final chapters are “beautifully detailed.” She claimed this allowed returning characters to evolve while setting the series for its future love stories.
Liz Hersey of Screen Rant also praised the direction of the season. She wrote, “In brilliantly embracing the forbidden romance trope, Benedict and Sophie retain the fairytale quality of their love story.”
The season was released in two parts, with the concluding episodes arriving on February 26, 2026.
