It seems Jonathan Majors might be plotting his Hollywood comeback through an unexpected partnership. According to a scooper named My Time To Shine Hello, who posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Jonathan Majors is doing a movie with Ben Shapiro and The Daily Wire.” If true, the collaboration would be one of Majors’ first few major projects since Marvel Studios severed ties with him following his 2023 assault conviction.
The potential pairing comes as both figures navigate controversial territory in their respective careers. Majors, once positioned as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next Thanos-level threat, now finds himself rebuilding after his legal troubles. Shapiro, meanwhile, has built The Daily Wire into a conservative media empire that funds independent film productions.
Marvel Studios fired Jonathan Majors in December 2023, shortly after a New York City jury found him guilty in a domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
Marvel had planned for Majors to lead 2026’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but the studio quickly pivoted. They’ve since rebranded that project as Avengers: Doomsday, with MCU’s fan-favorite Robert Downey Jr. returning to play Doctor Doom instead.
On the other hand, Benjamin Aaron Shapiro is a conservative political commentator, media host, and attorney. He co-founded The Daily Wire in 2015 and hosts The Ben Shapiro Show, a daily political podcast and live radio show. The Daily Wire has expanded into movies and TV through its own production and distribution platform, releasing films like Run Hide Fight, Shut In, and Lady Ballers.
