Kit Harington & Sophie Turner Gag After Kissing in New BTS Video

Kit Harington and Sophie Turner had to share a kiss for their upcoming movie, The Dreadful, after previously playing siblings in a TV show. The duo, who famously portrayed Jon Snow and Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, are now sharing the screen as lovers. This drastic change in their dynamic has led to some hilarious behind-the-scenes moments, after they had to kiss on camera.

In a new BTS video shared by Entertainment Tonight, Kit Harington and Sophie Turner are seen jokingly gagging after filming a kissing scene. The duo had developed a familial bond while starring together as siblings in Game of Thrones. The actors thus had an awkward moment after sharing a kiss in their latest collaboration.

The viral behind-the-scenes clip shows Harington and Turner share a passionate kiss as their characters before the director yells, “Cut!” The pair immediately pulled away and playfully did a retching motion with the crew laughing in the background.

Turner had previously opened up about playing lovers with her Game of Thrones brother in a July 2025 interview with Vogue. She apologized to the fans, saying, “It’s really weird for all of us.” The actress had also recalled filming the kissing scene during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers last year.

Turner recalled finding out that the script for The Dreadful had a lot of kissing and intimate scenes. The actress remembered thinking, “Oh, shoot, that’s my brother,” when she realized she had to play lovers with Harington. “So then we put it out of our minds… And then we get on set, and it’s the first kissing scene, and we are both retching,” Turner added.
