Kit Harington, who rose to prominence with the role of Jon Snow in the acclaimed HBO drama Game of Thrones, is now an important part of the British-American drama Industry. However, the actor spent most of his time in the fourth and penultimate season naked. During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Harington explained how he was to blame for the many naked scenes that he did for the show’s fourth season.
Kit Harington talks about Industry’s new season
Kit Harington recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he discussed the recently concluded fourth season of Industry. The actor claimed that he was naked in the series “a lot” and blamed it on himself.
“I’m naked about 90 percent of the time,” Harington said, only to hear loud cheers from fans. He added with a pause, “I’m really glad it got that reaction.” But the Game of Thrones actor went on to reiterate, “No. I’m naked a lot.”
In the fourth season, Harington’s Henry spirals in the midst of his failed political career and crumbling marriage, and this gives the show many memorable scenes, most featuring Harington without clothes.
“I think it was entirely my own fault,” the actor confessed. He recalled that when he made his debut in the previous season of Industry, creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay warned him of some intimate scenes. “My character has some kinks,” Harington explained, “And they came up to me and went, ‘Look, if you’re okay with this, we think your character is gonna get, well, peed on.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’ll do anything. I’ll do anything.'”
Harington said that the creators took his remark very seriously. “I saw their faces just, like, change,” he said, “And now in season 4, I’m doing all the things. And it’s very rare I’m dressed.”
The fourth season of Industry concluded this year, but there will be another season of the show, which will conclude the story.
All the episodes of Industry season 4 are now streaming on HBO Max.
