The photo in question has since gone viral, dividing netizens into two factions, with one focusing on the funny side of things and the other criticizing the artist for her “cringey” use of artificial intelligence.

On February 16, Nicki Minaj took to her X (formerly Twitter) profile to share an AI-generated image of herself, sitting in a car beside current president Donald Trump. The Super Freaky Girl singer captioned the post, “Happy #PresidentsDay” to commemorate Washington’s Birthday, which celebrates US presidents on the third Monday of February every year.
The picture sees Minaj in a pink polo T-shirt and blue track pants as she counts a bundle of cash. Meanwhile, the AI version of Donald Trump compliments the musician’s costume. His AI image is seen in a pink jacket and floral denim jeans, throwing an ‘okay’ sign while looking at the camera.
Several fans joined Nicki Minaj in wishing Donald Trump on Presidents Day by sharing different AI-generated pictures of the singer sharing the floor with the businessman-turned-politician. One user reposted the image shared by Minaj along with the caption, “Happy #PresidentsDay! From duels to daring decisions, presidents weren’t just leaders,they were full of surprises!”
Nevertheless, Reddit users seemed to have a more critical opinion of the singer’s post, with many making fun of her AI pictures on the social media platform. One Reddit user compared Nicki Minaj’s post with Donald Trump to one of the most hated episodes of The Office, writing, “This is more cringey than Scott’s Tots.” Another took a jibe at the president’s links with Jeffrey Epstein by highlighting the sign on his AI-generated jacket, noting, “Does his jacket say “Jeff” on it? Like did he steal a pink jacket from a certain island? Is that what is implied here?”
