According to an industry scooper, the upcoming Avengers film is going to feature a fight between Magneto and Doctor Doom. This face-off is speculated to be on the level of Doctor Strange vs. Thanos.

This comes after MTTSH previously stated, “Magneto vs. Doom was described to me as the most epic fight in the film and maybe ever in the MCU.” On the other hand, another renowned insider, Daniel Richtman, called Magneto the ” MVP of Avengers Doomsday.”
Notably, Ian McKellen’s Magneto is expected to have a significant role in the upcoming movie. The actor hinted this during his chat with Stephen Colbert. He revealed, “I don’t always understand the story of these movies that I’m in… but in this one, I don’t think I’m spoiling anything by saying that Magneto destroys New Jersey. I’m sorry about that, New Jersey. My fault.”
Moreover, McKellen divulged the details of a fight sequence while speaking to Colbert. He said, “I’m standing up pretending to do that, and the wind is blowing in my hair, and I’m putting on a fierce look, and I’m trying to be magnetic. The director on the loudspeaker says, ‘Ian, look more furious.’ He then said, ‘Shout something.’ I said, ‘What do I shout?’ He said, ‘Shout the worst thing you could possibly think of.’ So I said, ‘Maago!”
Apart from Ian McKellen, several other X-Men stars will be reprising their roles in Avengers: Doomsday. This includes Patrick Stewart, Kelsey Grammer, James Marsden, Rebecca Romijn, and Alan Cumming.
